Yolo Javier, a 12th-grader at Laguna Beach High in California, placed second in the girls small school and large school combined senior race, covering the 1.7-mile layout in 12:39.4 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Javier was the fastest small school competitor in the race.
